Hepatitis B refers to an infection of the liver that can cause scarring of the organ, It is generally done liver failure, and cancer. If left untreated, it can lead to death. The warning signs of hepatitis B include fever, belly pain, fatigue, light-coloured poop, jaundice, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting etc. One can get hepatitis B through various ways like sex, sharing needles, mother to child, and accidental needle sticks. If you have been exposed to the virus, your healthcare provider will give you a vaccine and a shot of hepatitis B immune globulin. Consult your gastroenterologist if you think you have above symptoms.
